The Women’s Room – Center for Sexual Rights is a feminist, non-profit, civil society organization established in 2002 with the aim of prevention and combating sexual violence, providing direct support and assistance to persons who survived sexual violence as well as promotion and protection of sexual rights. The Women’s Room is the Network of Support and Cooperation for Victims and Witness of Criminal Offences coordinator. Within the scope of the Women’s Room, the Center for Victims of Sexual Violence provides direct assistance and support to persons (adults and young people from 16 to 18 years) who have survived any form of sexual violence. The Center is the only referral center for survivors of sexual violence in Republic of Croatia and it continues to expand its services and improve the quality of work. The team of the Center is specialized to work with survivors of sexual violence, but we provide the assistance and support to all persons who contact us either by coming into the premises of the Center, by phone (+38516119174), by e-mail (email@example.com) or by Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/zenska.soba/). All services are completely free and anonymity is fully guaranteed. Information Legal Center is established in 2002 and since they have been operating in Brod-Posavina County and the wider region, as a civil society organization dedicated to improving the protection of human and civil rights of all vulnerable groups through providing free legal aid, collecting information related to monitoring of protection, violations and realization of basic human and civil rights, monitoring of legal regulation. Oranization is continuously working on establishing and improving cooperation with government bodies specialized in ensuring equality of citizens, combating discrimination, supporting and protecting victims and witnesses of criminal offenses and misdemeanors of domestic violence, systematic work on combating statelessness and legal inclusion, and integration of the Roma national minority into Croatian society.

S.O.S. – counseling, empowerment, co-operation is a civil society organization founded in 2002 with the aim of promoting and protecting human rights with an emphasis on women’s human rights, establishing gender equality, preventing all forms of violence in society, providing support to women victims of violence and marginalized group of persons and encouraging volunteering and active citizenship. Assosication “ZvoniMir” is a civil society organization established in 2002. The headquarters of the association is in Knin with additional offices in Drniš and Kistanje, and they operate in the Šibenik-Knin and surrounding counties – Zadar, Lika-Senj and Split-Dalmatia. Activities of organization are aimed at providing and developing social services, protecting and respecting human rights, developing and promoting civil society and volunteering. Mission is to improve the lives of all citizens, especially those who are at a disadvantage, by providing help to every individual who needs it. Organization includes various marginalized individuals and groups in our work – the elderly, victims of domestic violence, victims and witnesses of crime, disenfranchised consumers, children and youth, the unemployed, volunteers, civil society organizations. Organization provides administrative assistance, information on rights, escort to court and other institutions, emotional and psychological support, and through the Iskra Volunteer Center they organize volunteer activities, trainings and workshops in an effort to popularize volunteering in the community. DEŠA – DUBROVNIK, Regional center for community building and civil society development is a civil society organization that has been operating in Dubrovnik since the beginning of the Homeland War in 1991, and was formally founded and registered in 1993. Its goal was to help women victims of war and their families, to help them cope with the difficulties in which they lived. DEŠA is working on sustainable social, economic, cultural and environmental empowerment and community building. DEŠA actively responds to the needs of citizens, and in particular provides support to socially vulnerable groups that it includes in the social life of the local community. DEŠA strengthens social capital, especially the role of women and youth as bearers of positive changes in society. DEŠA’s mission is realized through information, awareness, lifelong learning and education, counseling, volunteering and direct work in the community. Victim and witness support service was founded in 2006 in Vukovar, Croatia. The goal of establishing, as well as the work of organization, is aimed at exercising the rights and improving the social position and status of victims and witnesses by providing support aimed at reducing trauma and discomfort in testifying. Activities of the Victim and Witness Support Service are also targeted towards advocating for the improvement of legislative and institutional practices regarding victims and witnesses in Croatia. The Victim and Witness Support Service works through five offices at four different locations – National Call Center for Victims of Crime which is located in Zagreb, offices in Varaždin, Osijek and Vukovar and the Advisory Center for Victims of Domestic Abuse in Varaždin. The purpose of Victim and Witness Support Service is to improve position of victims and witnesses and to improve existing system of support. They provide emotional and practical support to victims and witnesses, during and after court proceedings, and regardless of whether the criminal offence was reported. The goals and activities are: support to all victims and witnesses in need; providing free legal aid; providing psychosocial services and psychological counseling; promoting the rights of victims and witnesses and pointing out their needs and problems; advocating for improving the legal and social position of victims and witnesses; educations in the social-humanistic field; implementation and analysis of research; educating the public about the needs of victims and witnesses; working with young people to improve the victim and witness support system; working with volunteers to directly support victims and witnesses; training of volunteers and members; organization of seminars, lectures and other professional gatherings.
